Some Great Pictures of Bikes:

The Bobber is an American design.  The Bobbers were stripped down street bikes used for racing from the 1920's forward.  After WWII, the Bobber concept was used as a means of getting more performance out of stock street "dressers" because there was little money or after market parts available for the rider.  The Bobber is now a "look" which has come back as of late.  The Cafe Racer is a European concept.  It was primarily the British who took sport versions of street models and spruced them up as street racers.  The goal was to do the "ton" (go at least 100mph) which was fast in the 1950's when the Cafe Racer was born.  The Cafe Racer is now a "look" which is a form of custom.  Both are related, one is primarily American and the other European in influence.  Both are really cool looking!

Send me a picture of a Cafe Racer or Bobber that that you have seen and has inspired you, and I will post it!

Pictured above is a "new school" Triumph Bonneville made to be an "old school" Bobber. That car tire in the back is really great, authentic as well!

Above is a Honda "four" Bobber. I can't tell for sure what version of engine it is but the big front tire is what makes it special!

Cafe Racer version of the SRX600 Yamaha. A worthy bike and a beautifully done special.

Above is an early CB750 Honda (pre 1978). These bikes are great bikes to customize!

Above is a Honda VLX600. They can be purchased very inexpensively and easily customized!

The Triumph Bonneville above is a well done Cafe Racer. The new Bonnie's are great foundational bikes to customize.

This "old school" Triumph with a white wall back tire is so classic!

You see few custom CB or CL350 Hondas, this one was very nicely done.

This old school BSA Bobber has the period "look."

Old Gold Wings are "ripe" for customizing!

It looks like a BMW 1150R. What a good job!

Any of the older Honda CB750's make for great customs. A nice thing about these bikes is that they are modern enough to keep up with today's bikes.

This CB500/550 was beautifully done.

A vintage machine, a Bobber, British, and a racer, what a combination!

And finally a Cafe Racer with a Harley engine, or is it an S&S?

This little Kawasaki twin has a great look.

Another little Kawasaki twin, this KZ440 has been turned into a racer.

This BSA Goldstar Clubman required little to look so good.

This was an inexpensive bike to do, it looks good anyway!

This lime green "Guzzi" has a 70's look!

The CB350 above was done right. I found it in e-bay!

Gold Wing Bobber, WOW!!!
